To obtain wider profiles than the ones achievable from extrusion process, these heat sinks are created by joining together two or more extruded profiles through a specialized welding process. This is extremely flexible to dimensional customer requirements and serviceable for any modification to existing extruded profiles. This solution incorporates already bevelled profiles for a higher efficiency welding operation, carried out on custom welding equipment which minimises the addition of weld material into the heat sink.
