The DIN Rail (DR) range of thyristor power controllers is offered in 8 power ratings:
Power Products International is one of the largest UK manufacturers of thyristor controllers designed for the control of heater batteries in HVAC systems and resistive loads in electric furnaces. All of our controllers are self-powered and require a 0-10volt input signal. Available in single and three-phase versions, the units comply with current EMC and safety regulations, are CE compliant and built to BSEN 50178 standard. As with most Power Products thyristor assemblies, custom options are available.
Built to BS EN50178 standard, the Panel Mount series uses zero crossover switching, and Burst Pulse Control ensures the load is switched only in multiples of a complete mains half-cycle in order to keep supply and electrical disturbance to a minimum.
The units also feature variable frequency PWM for near infinite resolution. A Manual / Auto override feature is incorporated enabling the power controller to retain functionality in the event of a control system failure.
