Fast Diode Modules rated at 45 to 85 Amps from Vishay use fast recovery power diodes in a single diode configuration. The semiconductors are electrically isolated from the metal base, allowing common heatsink and compact assemblies to be built. These modules are intended for those applications where very fast recovery characteristics are required and for general power switching applications. |

Vishays’ 250Amp Fast Recovery Diode Modules uses fast recovery power diodes in four basic configurations. The semiconductors are electrically isolated from the metal base, allowing a common heatsink and compact assemblies to be built. Applications includes power supplies, battery chargers, welders, motor controls and general industrial current rectification.

These Fast Recovery Diode Modules manufactured by Vishay are rated at 460 Amps and 2500VRRM . They are UL approved (E78996) and and isolation voltage is 3000 VRMS. Typical applications include snubber for large GTOs’ and IGBTs’
