Vishay - Thyristors

The Vishay Semiconductors product portfolio includes rectifiers, fast-recovery diodes, high-power diodes and thyristors, small-signal diodes, Zener and suppressor diodes, RF transistors, optoelectronics, power modules (a combination of power diodes, thyristors, MOSFETs, and IGBTs), and automotive modules and assemblies.

Thyristors Vishay

This range of TO220 packaged High Voltage silicon controlled rectifiers rated from 6 to 16Amps are specifically designed for medium power switching and phase control applications. Typical applications are in input rectification and crow-bar(soft start) and these products are designed to be used with Vishay HPP input diodes, switches and output rectifiers which are available in identical package outlines.


Thyristors Vishay

These High Voltage silicon controlled rectifiers in a T0247 package are rated  from 20 to 35 Amps and are specifically designed for medium power switching and phase control applications. The glass passivation technology used has reliable operation up to 125 °C junction temperature. Typical applications are in input rectification (soft start) and these products are designed to be used with Vishay HPP input diodes, switches and output rectifiers which are available in identical package outlines.

Vishay stud mounting thyristors range from 100V VRRM  to 1200V VRRM  and 10A IF(AV) up to 50A IF(AV) They feature  Improved glass passivation for high reliability and exceptional stability at high temperature. Typical applications include Medium power switching and Phase control applications. Where appropriate, components  can be supplied to meet stringent military, aerospace and other high reliability requirements.

The Vishay range of Phase Control  and Inverter Grade Thyristors feature an Hermetic glass-metal seal and are Compression bonded encapsulation for heavy duty operations such as severe thermal cycling. Rated from 80 to 330Amps and  400 to 2000 VRRM . They are ideally suited to DC motor controls, Controlled DC power supplies, AC controllers. Inverters, Choppers  and Induction heating

Vishay Hockey PUK Phase Control and Inverter Grade Thyristors feature a metal case with a ceramic insulator and are qualified for industrial useage  Current rating is from 1650 to 2310Amps and voltages range from 330V up to 2000 VRRM.Typical applications include DC motor controls  Controlled DC power supplies and AC controllers.
