Designed and manufactured by Premo these high energy storage Multi E Chokes utilise copper foil windings around E shaped ferrite. Advanced low losses design gives (>99%) high efficiency and storage currents of up to 120 Amps. Operating frequency is from 5kHz to 70kHz and the insulation system complies with UL-1446 and combinations of up to 6 stacked cores are available. Typical applications include solar and windmill renewable energies inverters, input and output chokes for welding UPS equipment. |

The Premo POT CORE series is based on a combination of high performance pot cores and rectangular copper wire, the wound coil is completely enclosed by the iron powder core thus improving EMC performance. Developed by Premo the M80 Series of DC and AC inverter chokes are capable of handling power levels to 10kW. High inductance values (up to 5mH) make them perfect for high eficiency solar inverter aplications. The M80 series is based on a combination of high performance multi-E sendust alloy (Kool Mì) cores and rectangular copper wire which combine to allow this series of chokes to ehibit the highest efficiency (>99.5%) in the market for its’ given size. The M80 series exhibits excellent stability and reliability at high temperatures. As a consequence of the distributed air gap the inductance shift with temperature change is relatively small. Due to the high Curie temperatures of powder core alloys, changes in saturation characteristics are minor over normal operating temperature ranges. Advanced design amd manufacturing techniques provide excellent resistance to thermal shock and the series is rated for continuous operation up to 200°C.

PREMO introduce a new standard series of high storage mono-phase and three-phase AC chokes for renewable energy applications, offering a wide range of inductances and power (from 2,5 up to 100kVA). The AIC series is manufactured with a new magnetic material which has a balanced performance, combining a high flux density with low coercitivity and power losses over a broad range of frequencies making them an ideal solution. This combination of low losses and high saturation flux density provides size reduction and increasingly energy efficiency.
