Premo - Common Mode Chokes

The closed core topology and the windings distribution make these components ideal for common mode noise suppression The continuous  path of the toroid maximises the  magnetic coupling between the windings thereby minimizing the leakage inductance. Premo manufactures a wide range of common mode chokes for use in a variety of applications. The magnetic core material is either high permeability or ferrite or nanocrystalline.

Manufactured by Premo using nanocrystalline core material the HC Series of common mode chokes chokes have a high current capability from 2 to 32 Amps in each winding, exhibit a wide impedence vs frequency response and excellent stability vs temperature. Inductance values range from 6mH to 28mH and attenuation is from 10kHz to 100Mhz. In addition to a range of standard values customer specific options are available.

Premo Common Mode Choke image

The SC series of surface mount common mode chokes are manufactured by Premo using a ferrite core and are rated to
 2.5 Amps in each winding and the inductance range is 5µH to 4.7mH. Suitable for CAN Bus applications these chokes are supplied in reels of 600pcs

Available in either vertical or horizontal mount versions the Premo PC Series of common mode chokes are rated to 10Amps in each winding with an inductance range of 1.8mH to 68mH. Conformance is to UL 1283 and cases are of UL94V-0 material.

The PM Series of common mode chokes are manufacted by Premo using a ferrite core inside a UL94V-0 plastic case. The inductance range is 0.5mH to 40mH and current is from
0.4 to 6.3 Amps in each winding. Vertical and Horizontal versions are available.
